Itinerary

DAY 01: HANOI ARRIVAL, HANOI CITY HALF DAY
Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, welcome by our guide and transfer to your hotel and check in hotel. The transfer distance is approximately 40 munites. Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia. The half-day city tour begins with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex and Ba Dinh Square, an important point of pilgrimage for many Vietnamese. The area surrounding the complex is a traffic-free zone filled with botanical gardens, monuments, memorials and pagodas, and includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum. Travel back in time to the nearby simple cottage on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during his humble beginnings as a revolutionary. Walk a few blocks out of the Ho Chi Minch Complex to the 11th century Buddhist One Pillar Pagoda, an elegant construction rising from the center of a square shaped lotus pond on a solitary pillar. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars. Following the complex's visit, head for a walk around at the Old Quarter, famous for its ancient streets representing traditional trades from the past. Meals: None Overnight at hotel in Hanoi
DAY 02: HANOI – HALONG BAY OVERIGHT CRUISE
Following breakfast, you will leave Hanoi for around 2.5-hour drive to Ha Long Bay including a 20-minutes stop on the way (sharing transfer). Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. you will get on a Halong Bay cruise and explore the breathtaking natural beauty of the area. Listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty, known in Vietnamese as “Dragon descending to the sea”, Halong Bay features thousands of limestone islands, grottoes awaiting to be admired. Be welcomed onboard and have lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself which make you feel both the inside and outside beauty of the bay. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary).Following the break, depending on each cruise’s itinerary of the day, you’ll join some activities on a boat to discover the beauty of the bay such as visiting a cave, kayaking, swimming in the sea or just spend some time relaxing on board. DAY 03: HALONG BAY – HANOI – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH
Early risers can enjoy a memorable sunrise and the fresh morning in the middle of the bay, the sun rises on Ha Long in the morning and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Disembark and transfer (sharing transfer) back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi late in the afternoon. Our car will transfers you to Hanoi International Airport (no guide) on air-conditioned vehicle for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Arrive Ho chi Minh, Our car pick up and transfer to Ho chi Minh hotel, check in and relaxing. Meal: Breakfast, brunch Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh
DAY 04: FULL DAY HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR & CU CHI TUNNELS
Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Have lunch at local restaurant (not included) Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to Saigon. End trip. DAY 05: DAY 5 : SAIGON – FULL DAY MYTHO (MEKONG DELTA) 65km–2hour driving
Morning, travel by car to the Mekong Delta, the world’s largest delta and Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho City, capital of Tien Giang Province, board a motorboat and navigate through intricate canals while observing the local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on Thoi Son Island to listen to the Southern traditional music performed by native artists. Continue the tour with a paddleboat to cruise more canals before visiting households with traditional occupations of home-based coconut candy and rice-wine making. Switch back to a motorboat to go to a bee farm to enjoy fresh honey tea and fresh fruits. On the way back to My Tho, stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a prominent local Buddhist structure built in 1850 with a unique architectural mixture of Vietnamese, Roman, Chinese and Cambodian styles characterized by a highly ornate façade. DAY 06: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE – SIEM REAP - ARRIVAL
Free at leisure until transfer to airport (no guide) for departure flight. Upon arrival in Siem Reap Airport, greeting by guide and driver transfer to hotel check in. Official check in 14:00 and check out 12:00pm. Meals: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.
DAY 07: SIEM REAP – TEMPLE TOUR
At 08:00am we go out to visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue visit Ta Prohm Temple, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location in the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Afternoon, visit to the most famous temple Angkor Wat, the World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. DAY 08: SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP VILLAGE 0 WAT THMEI (KILLING FIELD) – CITY TOUR
Today, we excursion to visit the floating village of Chong Kneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current. Then see the Main Shrine, where the local people usually worship, with its statue of Yeay Teap, Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm. Buying jasmine and lotus flowers to worship is very important for Cambodians. Afternoon, visit Wat Thmei (Killing Field) contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. Some of the bones were recovered from a nearby well while others are the remains of soldiers who died on a nearby battlefield. Come back to visit the "Les Artisans d'Angkor – Chantiers Ecole" the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. Meals: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.
DAY 09: SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (no guide)
Breakfast at your hotel. Free on your own leisure until the time our driver (no guide) picks up for a transfer to Siem Reap Airport for departure (Based on your departure flight). Meals: Breakfast
